Background and impact: Building a global brand that appeals to local customers can be difficult to get right. For yarn makers Coats & Clark’s knitSMC brand this meant creating localized versions of the website for the US and German markets. Created concept and UX for the Drupal e-commerce site in multiple languages and for multiple countries. Worked with the agency on execution. The result: both sites share the modern, clean European look, but the content and languages are tailored for local eyes and ears.
